1896 Established by Seba Illingworth (retired 1904), and Hubert George Illingworth.

1914 Present Principals: Hubert George Illingworth and William T. M. Illingworth (since 1904). Staff: About 100. Specialities: Bags for nails, nuts, bolts, rivets, etc, and coal bags.

1921 'fire at the premises of Messrs. S. and H. Illingworth, nail-bag and papermakers, Quebec-street, Bradford. The building was entirely destroyed.'[1]
