The company grew with the horticultural industry in the most productive area of the country, Lincolnshire.[2]
1940 Eastern Counties Preserves was in liquidation< ref>The London Gazette 19 April 1940</ref>
Thereafter Eastern Counties Preserves (1940) Ltd, then Lockwood Foods.
1981 Acquired by Hillsdown Holdings
