1989 Trinity Holdings was formed as a management buyout of the engineering businesses of BET, including Dennis[1][2]

1992 Public offer of shares; the company made specialised engineering products for niche markets including Duple bus kits, Dennis fire engines and Reliance Mercury airport tenders[3]
