1880 Cooper, Box and Co Limited was registered as a public company, with capital of £100,000, to take over and carry on the business of Box, Cooper and Co, wholesale and export hat manufacturers, clothiers and waterproofers.[1]

1906 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
