Copeland and Jenkins

1933 Company formed by Messrs Copeland and Jenkins to process mica for use in the electrical and electronics industries.
In order to ensure adequate precision, the company made its own tools and dies. The company had 2 tool rooms, one in London and the other in Wellingborough.
1955 Public company incorporated to acquire the business previously carried on as Copeland and Jenkins Ltd[1]. National Plastics had owned a large part of the ordinary shares before the flotation and had sold these shares.

- 1961 Mica processors and insulation specialists in all materials. 800 employees.
