Harold Briggs

Harold Briggs was born in 1897 and received his engineering training at the works of Daimler.
During the war he was engaged on technical work in the Royal Flying Corps, and on demobilisation entered on a three years' course at Nottingham University College in completion of his training.
In 1921 he was appointed to the Works Staff of the BSA, and, as Assistant Engineer, was with the Company until his death which occurred in August, 1929.
He was the winner of the Graduates’ Prize in 1922 and the author of a subsequent paper before the senior members.
He was elected a Graduate of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1920 and was transferred to Associate Member in 1924.
