David Wood
David Wood (1761-1820) of Fenton, Murray and Wood
David Wood was the son of a blacksmith from Ulleskelf, near Tadcaster. In 1783 David was a blacksmith in Bolton Percy.[1]

1795 Partnership established as a steam engine manufactory at Holbeck by Matthew Murray, James Fenton, David Wood, and William Lister to establish Fenton, Murray and Wood
Married Eleanor and had sons Joseph and David
1820 October 1st. Died. . Of his six son, four died before him and Joseph followed in 1821. Both his daughters Ann and Mary and his wife also pre-deceased him. Only his second son David lived much beyond this date, dying in 1830 age 32 in Düsseldorf
