James Philp (c1779-1859) of Philp and Whicker


1859 November 15th. Died at 48 Vincent Square, Westminster, and of 67 St. James Street. Age 80.[1]

1863 Court case concerning his estate. Mentions a falling out with his daughter Ann Philp. 'The deceased had come from Scotland many years ago, and had prospered in his business'[2]
