1870 William Joshua Tilley died on 30 January; he was formerly of the Franchise, in the parish of Burwash, in the county of Sussex, and late of Westwood, Upper Sydenham, in the county of Kent; his executors were Vincent Perronet Sells, of Penge, Samuel Mason, of No. 75, Upper Ground-street, Blackfriars-road, in the said county of Surrey, Engineer, son-in-law of the deceased, James Shand, of the same place, Engineer, son-in-law of the deceased, and Arthur Pritchard, formerly of No. 31, but now of No. 60, Stamford-street, Blackfriars-road aforesaid, Hat Manufacturer[1]
