A Mr Hamilton was a draughtsman with Boulton and Watt in the early part of the 19th century

After the death of James Watt (Junior) he became a partner in the firm of James Watt and Co

Not sure whether this is the same person as:

1860 Gilbert Hamilton, James Watt and Co, Soho Foundry, Birmingham.[1]
