Cravens Machines

1961 Cravens Railway Carriage and Wagon Co established a subsidiary Cravens Machines to exploit the injection moulding and diecasting machines the company had developed. Would work closely with Bone Brothers Ltd of Wembley, recently acquired by John Brown, who designed and produced paper making and converting machines and plastic extrusion equipment[1]
1967 Cravens Machines, a subsidiary of John Brown and Co, acquired the Granbull Division of Baker, Perkins responsible for that company's plastics work[2].
1969 The two companies had been merged into one organization called Bone Cravens; they supplied large injection moulding machines, together with the moulds made by another John Brown subsidiary, Tooling Products (Langrish) Ltd[3]
