1880 Born at Argyll Street, Pembroke Docks.

1904 Qualified as a Naval Architect

1915 Joined Siddeley-Deasy as Works Manager and Chief Engineer

1919 Purchased the American owned company Holley Brothers and Co and re-named it T. G. John to manufacture the 'Electra' range of engines
