Walter Tatlow Ltd

Established in 1913 by Walter Tatlow, the company had its origins in gauge and tool manufacture.[1]

1914 Advertisement for a Universal Grinder (person). Walter Tatlow Ltd, Warwick Street, Earlsdon.[2]

1915 H. H. Harley (who was the brother-in-law of Walter Tatlow) joined the company from Alfred Herbert Ltd and took over the management.

1916 December: Became Coventry Gauge and Small Tool Co.
