Forest-Gallice Engine

A range of French internal combustion engines was patented by Fernand Forest and Georges Gallice.
Two interesting petrol marine engines are on display in the Musée des Arts et Métiers. One of these is a five cylinder compound engine. See Douglas Self's website[1]
The Musée also have on display an 1887 scale model of a two-cylinder petrol engine. See photos. The museum's online information concerning this engine credits Fernand Forest as the 'auteur intellectuel et matériel', and Fernand Forest and Georges Gallice for the 'origine de l'oeuvre'. See here.
