1948 Formed by merger of the X-ray interests of Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co, Newton and Wright Ltd and the Victor X-Ray Corporation. Expansion into new factory at Motherwell, Lanarkshire. .

1954 A subsidiary of AEI (presumably AEI Scientific Apparatus)
