Benjamin Haigh Taylor (1883- )

1922 M.I.Mar.E., Mar. Engr.; Chief Engr., West Coast Towage and Salvage Co., Ltd.; b. 1883; s. of Oliver Taylor. Ed. Ripley Hospital, Lancaster. Training: Liverpool Tech. Schs. App. with H. and C. Grayson, Ltd., Liverpool. Career: A sea-going career in various Cos. and positions, 1904-8; joined the Lancashire Shipping Co., Ltd., Liverpool, as 3rd Engr., rising to Chief Engr., March, 1913; Jan., 1916, came ashore as Asst. to their Supt. Engrs.; present position since March, 1920.
