Eatablished by Howard and Bullough of Globe Works, Accrington.

1893 The company was registered as Howard and Bullough (American Machine Co) Ltd on 27 November. [1]

1911 It was decided that it would be financially advantageous to register the business as an American Company, the H. & B. American Machine Co, registered in the State of Maine.[2]
