1989 This consisted of GEC's activities in semiconductors, power devices, micro-systems, microwave devices, electronic valves and tubes, electronic test and measurement systems, automatic test equipment, simulators and computer-aided design equipment.[1] These would have included some of the businesses that were previously described under Industrial Products as well as businesses in GEC Light Industrial Products, Marconi Electronic Devices and EEV, and perhaps GEC-Elliott Automation.
