Algernon Edward Johnson (1864-1931)
1864 Born the son of Henry Croom Johnson, Civil Engineer, and his wife Elizabeth Lewis.
1884-1888 In the office of Mr J. W. Armstrong (sic) on the Northern Division of the GWR
1888 Became an engineer for Messrs Johnson Brothers, public works contractors, as well as operating a private practice.
1893 Living at Wrexham. Married Florence Mabel Chance in Hampstead[1]
1894 Associate Member of Inst Civil Engineers
1911 Living at The Red House, Penmaenmawr: Algernon Edward Johnson (age 46 born Dwygyfylchi), Civil Engineer. With his wife Florence Mabel and their son Eric Chance Johnson.[2]
1926 Name changed by deed poll to Algernon Edward Croom-Johnson
1931 Died in Farnham[3]
