William Thomas Ellison (1866-1953) of W. T. Ellison and Co

1911 Living at 172 Bolton Road Pendleton Manchester: William Thomas Ellison (age 44 born Salford), Mechanical Engineer. With his wife Emily, five daughters and son William Thomas Ellison (age 25 born Irlams-o'-th'Height). Also his FIL and MIL.[1]

1939 Living at 53 Forest Road, Southport, Chartered Mechanical. With other Ellison family members.[2]

1953 Died. 'In loving memory of father. WILLIAM THOMAS ELLISON, M.I.M.E. (inventor of the rush preventive turnstile), of W. T. Ellison and Co. Ltd., Engineers, Salford, passed on June 26. 1953. at 53 Forest Road, Southport. Daughter DOROTHY.'[3]
