Thomas Scholes Creswell
Thomas Scholes Creswell (1887-1914), early aviator
Born the son of Frank Stenhouse Creswell, an Export Merchant.
1914 June 4th. Died at Calshot Air Station while flying a Short seaplane. He probably stalled in a turn at low height and applied full elevator suddenly to pull out of the resultant dive and the left hand pair of wings collapsed. The plane dived into Southhampton Water. His passenger A. Rice was also killed.
