1915 The Lothian Chemical Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £1500, to carry on business as manufacturers of chemicals and chemical preparations.[1]

1999 The company changed its name to Shanks Chemical Services (Scotland) Limited.

2017 The company was dissolved.[2]
