1934 Founded as Eastern Counties Preserves by Mr Philip B. Lockwood.[1]

The company grew with the horticultural industry in the most productive area of the country, Lincolnshire.[2]

1940 Eastern Counties Preserves was in liquidation[3]

Thereafter Eastern Counties Preserves (1940) Ltd, then Lockwood Foods.

1981 Acquired by Hillsdown Holdings
