Presumably the same as Lawrence Hill and Co

1861 Laurence Hill (b.1817) was a shipbuilder, employer, living in Greenock East[1]

1870 The company launched only two ships in the course of the year, by the end of which they were bankrupt. The yard and works were purchased by Messrs Cunliffe and Dunlop of Glasgow for £13,500.[2]
