1979 Steetley acquired Gibbons Dudley Ltd leading to the establishment of Steetley Brick Ltd, Steetley Engineering Ltd and Steetley Properties (Holdings) Ltd.

1984 Manufactured industrial ovens and driers, space-heating panels, air pollution control equipment and electro-chemical cells at a site in the West Midlands.
