Charles Tellier (1828-1913) French inventor of refrigeration machines

1865 Described as the inventor of the ammonia ice-producing machine, and the ammonia engine as motive power. He proposed an apparatus for the refrigeration of public buildings or crowded saloons, theatres, etc.[1]
