1841 Born in Milverton, Warwick [1], son of George Nelson (1800-1850), chemist

1881 Gelatine manufacturer, lived in Ealing with his family[2]

1894 Canadian patent on "Thawing Frozen Food"

1900 Patent with Austin Edwards, both of Warwick, on "An Improved Process of Drying Photographic Plates, Films and Papers"

Patents with John Dicks, butcher (1901) on "A Machine for Cutting Legs of Mutton, Splitting Sheep and Cutting Beef" and in 1902 on "A Machine or Apparatus for Cutting Carcases of Mutton" and in 1903 on "Improvements in Knives for Apparatus for Cutting Carcases of Mutton."

1910 Patent with Walter Parkyns Tyser, shipowner, and John Dicks, meat salesman, on "Improved Process for the Preservation and Storing of Frozen or Chilled Meat and other Substances, either Animal or Vegetable and Apparatus therefor."

1911 Edward Montague Nelson 70, director of companies, lived in Warwick with Mary Caroline Nelson 64[3]

1919 A manufacturer, died in Warwick.
