AUTOCYCLE TRIAL CONCLUDED.[4]
Considering tho exceptionally severe nature of the trial, the excellent showing was made by the motor bicycle in the Autocycle Club's six days' trial, which came to an end Saturday. The last day's run was from Gloucester to London, the trial proper finishing at Staines.
Of the thirty-one motor cyclists who began the tour twenty completed the ride, but the tri-cars did not -fare so well, as of the five starters only one finished. The successful tricarist, F. Cozens, ten-horse Lagonda had gone through in brilliant style, and was considered likely to accomplish a fine performance, but thirty miles from home he was seen with a front wheel off, and finished minutes outside the schedule time.
