1933 New Company. 'Matthew Grist, Ltd., has been registered a private company, with a capital of £9,000 in shares (3,000 preference and 6,000 ordinary). The objects are to acquire the business of a manufacturer of purified woollen flocks and millpuffs, lately carried on by Matthew H. Grist at Merretts Mills, Woodchester. The permanent directors are: Samuel H. Grist, The Croft. Rodborough Common, Stroud, flock manufacturer, Lionel Grist, Elm Bank, S. Woodchester, flock manufacturer, Mabel Maria Grist and Josephine J. Palmer. The qualification is £50 shares and remuneration as fixed by the Company.'[1]
