'...the partnership heretofore subsisting between Henry Gittus, Christopher Alexander, and Charles Minett, trading together as Henry Gittus and Company, Railway Wagon Builders, at Barnsley, is hereby dissolved, by mutual consent, from the date hereof. All debts due to and by the said partnership will be paid and received by the said Henry Gittus and Charles Minett...'[2]
1909 Listed in Slater's Directory as 'Punch maker' at 93 Travis Street, This was on the north side of the street immediately before Baker Street. Next door at No. 85 was William Henry Taylor, box maker. The 1922 O.S. map shows a narrow building, approx 30 ft by 120 ft at the assumed location of Gittus's works
