Sydney Jessop Robinson (1858-1928)
1858 Born at Sheffield the son of William Robinson, Steel Manufacturer
1891 elected a director of William Jessop and Sons Limited.[1]
1893 Managing Director of William Jessop and Sons.[2]
1904 Appointed a director of J. J. Saville and Co when Jessops acquired a controlling interest.[3]
1911 Living at 12 Tapton House Road, Sheffield: Sydney Jessop Robinson (age 53 born Sheffield), Managing Director, Steel Works - Employer. With his wife Ann Elizabeth and their daughter.[4]
1919 Retired as MD following the take over of Jessops by BSA, but remained on the Board as a consultant.[5]
1928 Died at home on 16 Dec 1928.[6]
