1974 ITT acquired Alfred Teves, German manufacturer of brakes, and other European component manufacturers. Planned to open a factory in Wales[1].

Acquired by Continental AG

2001 Continental Teves designed and developed high tech solutions to the needs of the automotive industry in respect of chassis engineering and design dynamics[2].
