  • 1905 Mersey Railway bought ten Saurer's, they all fitted double-decker bodies.
  • 1907 The House of Lords ruled Mersey Railway had no right to run buses, so they all were sold.
  • Saurer sold well in the south of Wales district by providing a hard-wearing 3AD chassis, the dangerous roads were no match for this model.
  • South Wales Transport bought seven Brush-bodied 26 seaters, these ran on a Swansea route.
  • The buses and the route proved very successful so eventually the fleet number went up to 17.
  • 1935 'Saurer were ousted by AEC and Daimler.
