Alfred Darby (1807–1852), son of Edmund Darby (1782–1810) and great-nephew of Abraham Darby (1750-1789)

Alfred and his brother Abraham and were responsible for the great prosperity of the Coalbrookdale concerns in the mid-nineteenth century.
