1914 Obituary [1]

GEORGE BOWEN BENNETT, a director of the Scottish Iron and Steel Company, Ltd., died at Bothwell on October 3, 1913. He was a native of Bombay, and in 1892 entered into partnership with the late Mr. Mitchell in carrying on the Woodside Iron and Steel Works, Coatbridge, which were eventually taken over by the Scottish Iron and Steel Company.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1911.
