Joseph Salmons (1796-1878), the founder of Salmons and Sons

1822 January 18th. Married at Wellingborough, Northampton, to Jane Fermeadows

1861 Living at Tickford End, Newport Pagnell: Joseph Salmons (age 64 born Fenny Stratford, Coachbuilder employing 26 men and 8 boys. With his wife Jane Salmons (age 64 born Fotheringham, Northants.) and their three children; Mary A. Salmons (age 38 born Newport Pagnell); Joseph Salmons (age 25 born Newport Pagnell), Harness Maker Journeyman; and William Salmons (age 23 born Newport Pagnell), Coach Body Maker. Also his sister Elizabeth Salmons (age 55 born Sherrington), Retired Servant. Next house is Thomas Salmons and family.[1]
