To construct a line from Calcutta to Dacca via Pubna with a branch to Jessore. Length 112 miles and opened throughout 15th November 1862. The company has resolved to construct an extension beyond the Ganges as far as Para Pukee on the Jumoonara branch of the Bhurampooter and distance of about 40 or 50 miles.
