1953 Sale of British Industrial Plastics's Oldbury products was transferred from Beetle Products Co Ltd and Beetle Bond Ltd to the parent company.

1955 A new subsidiary B. I. P. Chemicals Ltd was set up to handle the manufacture and sale of all products from the Oldbury factory[1]

1958 B. I. P. Chemicals Ltd advertised for a works manager[2]

1959 Advertised its structural plastics[3]

1961 Turner and Newall acquired British Industrial Plastics

1982 The name of British Industrial Plastics was changed to B. I. P. Chemicals Ltd[4]
