1961 BSA Electrics Ltd was formed

1963 The new Heating Equipment division was formed by BSA to coordinate activities in the growing area of central heating equipment. BSA Electrics was starting to play a significant part in its activities [1]

1966 BSA Harford Heating Ltd was the world's largest manufacturer of circulating pumps for domestic heating[2]

1969 SMC acquired BSA's circulating pumps business[3]

1970 Formed a new company jointly owned with Shell-Mex and B. P.[4]
