1938 Started producing fruit juices

1949 Began marketing the fruit juices under the Britvic name

1950 British Vitamin Products (Holdings) Ltd was incorporated; subsidiaries were:

1954 Vine Products acquired Britvic Ltd[1] an undertaking engaged in the marketing of fruit juices.[2]

1968 Acquired by Allied Breweries[3]

1972 Mr Gilchrist, manager of Showerings limited at Shepton Mallet, was appointed additionally marketing director of Britvic Limited and British Vitamin Products Limited[4]

1974 British Vitamin Products (Holdings) did not trade; its main subsidiary Britvic Ltd was the wholly owned trading business[5].

1986 British Vitamin Products Ltd was renamed Britvic Soft Drinks Ltd
