'...the undersigned, Robert Stephens Davies, William Davies, Robert Spry Davies, and Philip Charles Evans, in the trade or business of Clothiers or Woollen Cloth Manufacturers, carried on at the several Mills, known as the Upper and Lower Stonehouse and Bridgend Mills, in the parish of Stonehouse, in the county of Gloucester, under the style or firm of Davies, Sons, and Evans, has been this day dissolved by mutual consent; but so far only as regards the said Philip Charles Evans...'[1]
