1868 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Davies, Charles Cains Grimes, and Joseph Gainer, all of Stonehouse Mills, in the county of Gloucester, in the trade or business of Woollen Cloth Manufacturers, carried on at Stonehouse Mills aforesaid, under the style of Robert S. Davies and Sons, was, on and from the 30th of June, 1868, dissolved by mutual consent, so far as concerns the said Charles Cains Grimes...'[1]
1870 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, William Davies, Joseph Gainer, and William Davies the younger, in the trade of Woollen Cloth Manufacturers and Merchants, carried on by them at the Upper and Lower Stonehouse Mills, in the parish of Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, under the style or firm of Robert S. Davies and Sons, was on the 14th of March, 1870, dissolved by mutual consent, so far as regards the said Joseph Gainer, and that the trade will be continued at the same mills by the said William Davies and William Davies the younger alone, under the same style or firm of Robert S. Davies and Sons...'[2]
1892 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, William Davies, Edward Jenner Davies, and Gilbert McCall, carrying on business as Woollen Cloth Manufacturers and Merchants, at Stonehouse, in the county of Gloucester, under the style or firm of Robert S. Davies and Sons, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as and from the 30:h day of June, 1892. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said William Davies and Gilbert McCall, by whom the said business will henceforth be carried on...'[3]
