Mr Eric C. Ottoway (Member) of London Transport Executive, died on 21st January. Mr Ottoway, who was with LT from 1933, was awarded the RDI (Royal Designer for Industry) in 1949 for his designs of road passenger vehicles. He was responsible for designing the RT bus, the green line coach and the RT double-decker coach.
