We regret to record the death of Mr. H. R. Backhouse, which occurred at Leicester on January 5th.
Mr. Backhouse, who was fifty-nine, was chairman and managing director of Mellor Bromley and Co., Ltd., which firm he joined in 1928. Prior to that he had served on the staff of B.S.A., Ltd.
