1882 The company was registered on 6 June to acquire the business of C. Hill and Sons. [1]

1914 Engineers, Ship Repairers, Boilermakers, Blacksmiths, Coppersmiths, Plumbers, Ironfounders, Electricians, Riggers etc. Employees 400. [2]

1926 1926 T. Allan Johnson, managing director of the Hills Dry Docks and Engineering Co of Cardiff, was elected by the Council as President of the South Wales Institute of Engineers for the session of 1927.[3]
