1882 Company established by Thomas Holloway and Henry Holloway at Victoria Works, Queen's Road, Battersea.

1900 Moved to Victoria Wharf.

Were the first builders in London to adopt electric power for machinery in workshops.

1908 Occupied a riverside site which was part of the land required for the new London County Hall.

c.1914 Acquired part of the Baltic Wharf and Bridge Wharf, instead of Castle's Shipbreaking Co, on the basis that they, Castles, would carry out the repairs and improvements needed, which were completed by 1914. Holloway Brothers agreed to a 30 year lease part of the site (160 Grosvenor Road Millbank) and erect a showroom and offices for the sole use of Castles.[1]
