JOHN SPEIGHT CUMBERLAND died on January 25, 1907, in London.

He was at one time connected with the Bowling Iron Company, and subsequently entered into the service of the Weardale Steel, Coal, and Coke Company, Limited, whose interests he represented in London for many years.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1885, but resigned his membership in 1902.
