JOSEPH WADDINGTON died on July 17, 1907, at Barrow-in-Furness.

In 1860 he commenced business at Barrow-in-Furness as an engineer and ironfounder, and the works which he then established have been carried on without intermission up to the present date.

He was an original member of the Iron and Steel Institute, having been elected in 1869.
