1887 Howe Machine Co closed. New Howe Machine Co established to purchase the business.

1892 Exhibited at the 1892 Stanley Cycle Show with cycles made under the supervision of the rider R. L. Philpot [1]

1893 Charles Sangster joined the Glasgow works of New Howe Machine Co where R. L. Philpot exercised great influence on the rising young designer.

Selwyn Edge was general manager before moving to Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co[2].
