Northumbrian Water

From Graces Guide

The principal operating subsidiary of Northumbrian Water Group

1989 Northumbrian Water provided sewerage services to the whole region and the water supply to approximately half the Northumbrian region as a result of privatisation of a regional water authority.

1995 Lyonnaise des Eaux wanted to acquire Northumbrian Water Group and merge Northumbrian Water with North East Water which it already owned; this triggered an automatic reference to the MMC.[1]
